This is one of the greatest feelings when riding a surfboard with a kite, a powered carving turn, leading in dragging a hand through the water, exiting with as much speed as you entered.
Compared to starting on your toeside, we now have far greater control over the board through the start and middle of the turn, and we can use extreme movements of the kite to sling shot us into the turn, as long as we are willing to commit with our whole body.
